With the 25th May 2018 seeing the introduction of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force, it is vital that businesses make the necessary changes to ensure that they are compliant. The GDPR affects any business holding personal data on customers, “leads” or “prospects” or employees and as such, businesses need to prepare for the change NOW. If you ignore this law, you can be fined up to £17.5m or 4% of turnover.
